Hacking Question EmuNAND VS EmuMMC

Hi I want to play online on my SYSNAND I have a moddable switch, I have a SX PRO dongle.
What are the actual difference between EmuNAND VS EmuMMC
Which is safer in a sense where you can do whatever you want in CFW but your SYSNAND will remain clean for online play?

Also which is the safest & cleanest mode of backing up a clean NAND before anything?

Didn't know on SX OS, but Atmosphere + EmuMMC (for homebrew, offline) are totally safe, I play my legit games online on my Sysnand without problems, the rest of stuff (not piracy, but homebrew apps and mods) are on my emuMMC.

I recomend you don't tidy your sysnand with any CFW stuff, if you use CFW on your sysnand before and you stay offline whole time, restore to your last clean backup before go online with your sysnand.

Except some bytes (SX OS custom header), both (EmuNand and EmuMMC) are the same thing, a 1:1 copy of your sysnand, but the systems to read and write on the image are different on each CFW.
