Hello,

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I couldn’t find a clear answer after searching.

Here’s my situation:

  • I have Pokémon saves that were played on emummc (modchip) before I owned the games.
  • Now I bought the legit games. One save (Scarlet) was originally created on a borrowed gamecard, then continued on emummc. The other (Brilliant Diamond) has no save yet on sysmmc/OFW.
  • I want to transfer these saves to sysmmc so I can use Pokémon HOME (and play online safely with my legit games).

My questions:

  1. Is it safe to copy/replace the saves from emummc to sysmmc without risk of bans?
  2. Once moved, will the Pokémon be transferable through HOME normally (as if they were always played on legit OFW)?
  3. In the case of Brilliant Diamond, since I never had a sysmmc save, can I just import the emummc save directly?
  4. On Scarlet/Violet, will the save that started on a borrowed cart but continued on emummc still count as legit when moved to sysmmc?

Extra detail: I’d like to continue using QoL cheats (FPS boost, infinite items, 100% catch rate) but only in emummc, completely offline. For sysmmc I would use only the clean save (no cheats active) for HOME/online.

Has anyone done this? What’s the correct/safest way to handle it?

Thanks!
