Why does the animal crossing save become unusable when you restore your emunand?

Before or after restoring emunand?

The last time I did this, my animal crossing save would not work no matter what. Even after I did this. Could the reason it did not work was because I did not do this first?

I tried it again and it still does not work. Am I doing something wrong?

I am totally guessing here. When you restored emunand did you restored the folder structure as well?

Well, yes. I did not move any of the files. The only thing I did do to the sd card was to restore back emunand.

Try this :
- delete your save.
- start a new game and save
- Restore your old save et delete the secure value.
