sorry for the strange question, right now on my microsd i have an unallocated space of 2gb for the emunand(GW one)i made some week agoo the a9lh process and all was fine but i not wiped the emunand partition and tried to figure out today if i can at this rate!now i simply create a backup of my sd with usb image tool then restored to the new card and opened easeus partition manager,i find the 2gig unallocated partition and pulled away regaining all the microsd space, saved, extracted the sd from pc and putted on my n3ds all works fine,i haven't lost anything altough i have regained the space for emunand,i only want to know is it normale the process that i have done or not,d9 shows me that image now: http://imgur.com/twH5sZO before it says "emunand installed GW emunand" now nothing...sorry but because i can boot into emu, sys,or emuS still i want to know how is changed altough the space regain, tnx and sorry :D

Backup everything from SD to computer.
In E9, format SD card without emuNAND.
    Copy everything back onto SD.

This is the "proper" way to remove emuNAND. D9 won't show an emuNAND is installed after doing this procedure.

Sorry, the first post is really hard to understand without sentence-ending punctuation. In your case, I think there's nothing left to do. (Or maybe formatting to 64k cluster size in order to increase performance by a little bit.)

You should format it with the built in Windows format tool, setting cluster size to 64k.

SD formatter will kill all hidden partitions

But it doesn't have a cluster size setting!

ok i have formatted with E9(no emunand option)all goes well and restore my previous backup but now my emunand disappeared completly with all my snes vc,cia installed etcc...i straight boot only in sysnand now(no more emu, emuS etcc)why?the data was still on Nintendo 3DS folder, luckly i have the other microsd intact with emunand and games on,but i want to know if i can recover the games i previously installed on my emunand,i have to recreate a new emunand or what?

This happened because you expanded the main partition over the hidden emuNAND one, it got overwritten.

You can then reformat in windows to do this in seconds, one should always format with SD formatter.

that's strange because i have previously regained my unallocated space and eliminated emunand, but i can access my previous emunand games installed...formatting with E9 deleted all this game too...at this rate i'm glad i have another sd with all intact on

If you regain unallocated space, you're basically marking the emuNAND partition as free space, just waiting to be overwritten.

But it seems to work fine in that mode and i regained space too,i can format to 64k with PC program and regain space without losing all my installed CIA games...is strage that my 17gigs on Nintendo 3ds folder are still there...why if they wont show anymore without an emunand setted?

It works fine until it's overwritten.

how can be owerwritten if i already eliminated the space that he requires?there is something that i for sure missing about emunand/rednand partition...1 thing was sure,i reallocated at hand the space with a easeus partition manager and regained my 2gig unallocated but at the same time i can boot into emu/emuS or sys and i doesen't lost a single game installed on emu(theme etcc too)i tried with Emunand9 and i regained the same space but losted all my installed game theme etcc...but if i look into SD my data/game/saves are still there(17 gig approx)what in the hell was happening here?please someone can explain me very well what's happened?tnx!

You didn't eliminate the space, just marked as free space which can be eventually overwritten by other files.

in that case i only eliminate the emunand but not the file installed on it right?damn,in that case how can i transfer all my installed emunand stuff over sysnand?(it seems the more logical things to do at this rate)
