Hacking Either soft-bricked my switch or totally bricked after updating

Sorta new here. I posted something similar on another thread which helped nothing.
Starting up smash would only bring up a system update prompt and I brainlessly pressed Update.
Tried booting in to CFW and stock but got the unknown pkg1 error, and then turned off AutoRCM thinking it would do something.

At least it survived the update.

Call me stupid, but I came completely unprepared. I did make a NAND backup, but it got deleted when I formatted my SD trying to boot Lakka. Now I cant even boot into RCM,

Did I brick my switch or can I save it?

If you cant boot into RCM you are doing something wrong, as the only things that could stop rcm from working are damaged hardware or incorrect set up

Try holding power for 15 second and trying to inject again, even if there i
IsntI any CFW compatible with the 7.0, you should still be able to boot into OFW while you wait for the public release of Atmosphere

I believe I had tried booting into OFW and got the same error back when I had AutoRCM on. Also, most methods I've used(paperclip, tinfoil)only worked once, which allowed me to install CFW on it. Any way to increase success rate?

Get a proper jig. Don't risk ruining your rail.

Just placed an order for a jig. If I'm able to boot into RCM, what would I do from there?

Jig actually came in today. This is what it looks like. I just tried RCM and TegraRCMSmash didn't detect anything. Will a jig like that work?




Edit: Switch just booted up into stock firmware. My Switch is actually ok.

double check your pins are okay, if they are you might need to bend the jig wire out a tiny fraction

Thanks for the help, but I might not try CFW for a while. At least not while Smash is still a big thing.
