I've had issues with homebrew games not saving for a while now and I could never figure out why. They used to save just fine. This started nearly a year ago so I don't remember what I could have possibly done to screw it up. Recently I backed up all of the my commercial DS games and they save just fine. So, I think I finally figure it out. The games that create seperate .sav files work. The games that save internally into the .nds file do not work.
My flashcart is a crappy R4i Platinum. This problem exists both on my DSi and DS Lite. My DSi firmware version is v1.4.3U. My flashcart is running wood akmenu 1.25.
Has anyone ever heard of this problem/have a solution?
