So I got a EFA-linker 512Mb from Dealextreme, it's the "simple version".

And I was going to try it out on my friends PC. I downloaded this drivers and software: http://www.jandaman.com/Merchant2/files/efasimple.zip

Didn't work...tried out a lot different versions and stuff and I finally got Pokemon Emerald working. After that I went home and wanted to add more roms, got these http://www.jandaman.com/Merchant2/files/efasimple.zip drivers and software and i could transfer the roms. After I added one rom, it stopped working...I just got either a black screen or a white screen. Then I tried this recommended drivers: http://totalgba.com/download.php "EFA LC Client software. [2.64MB].
EFA LC Drivers. [14KB]." Same problems. I cannot get it work anymore

Anyone know what I should do? Maybe anyone know some better drivers/software?

I got 5 computers and the EFA-linker only works on my old dell laptop with a USB 2.0 PC card.

the drivers doesn't like nvidia chipset controllers (on your motherboard). You will have to tell what hardware your running. If you only got that one computer, you might be more or less dependant on your friend's comp to do the transfering.

Its old technology for old technology users. when the EFA was introduced, Nvidia did'nt have those goofy chipsets - everything worked great.

Many new cars dont have tape players; dont insist that Cassettes are inferior because they dont work on your hardware.

Its a pain, what do you expect. the drivers are not exactly opensource. I got enough old hardware to deal with some of it.

My car has a cassette player, what about it.

you should be able to run the thing off a PCI USB card, as long as you can disable the chipset usb controls if they are Nvidia. the drivers are also kinda funky on some SIS chipsets, like you can read the cart info but can't burn things like that.
