Hacking edgei-ds.cn loader for AK2i

I think it's pointless I'd give the loader a try but I'm not going to hex edit files so I can use a loader thats not going to be better than the one I already have. Interesting concept but pretty pointless until someone uploads a working file and even then I still don't see much of a point.

For some people the messing about is half the fun. It's kind of like an introduction to simple hacking.

I thought the Edge was a clone of the Cyclo. Does that mean the Acekard is a Cyclo clone and the Edge is and Acekard clone?

The EDGE is a CycloDS clone. The loader in this thread is from the fake iEDGE.

You've just found out that a certain card is a clone when you were attempting to use that card's loader on a different one, and for it to be a clone of the card you were trying it on.

Now that is Mega Fail if I've ever seen it.

So the Edge clone is an Acekard clone. What I'm wondering is the firmware based on the Edge or the Acekard. What I'm thinking is An Acekard loader was adapted to the Edge clone and then back to the Acekard. Curiosity got the better of me. As far as I can tell this is the RPG open source firmware.

Damn straight. I spend more time "messing about" with this stuff than actually playing games.

For me its more than half. This was defiantly something worth posting.

Use with YSMenu.

At least it works on my supposely fake HWID80 Ak2i.

Same for r4idsn.

I'll test in a few hours if the method works with this new update.

Now I guess compatibility is better than akaio.

I don't understand how they can even make game fixes unless someone leaked the akaio source code to them as last time i looked this loader was based on the akaio 1.6 ak2 loader. If someone has leaked them the source code I will be kicking some ass.

What's the point of using a hacked loader from ripped from AKAIO 1.6RC2 with AKAIO 1.6RC2?

Is it really ripped from Akaio? The iedge fake uses plugins just like the old RPG firmware. It would make more sense since the RPG used to be open source.
