i can confirm that it works.

i got up to the first badge no problems (beat the gym dude) and then got the egg, anyway, i already have the original game.

... the EDGE appears to be the best clone ever ! same as cyclo minus the extra features, like RTS.

I've been playing this since 1.9 was released and kinda forgot to post that it was out so thanks shauzio you saved me the job of doing it.

for those wondering I have 5 badges and nothing has gone wrong yet

Again as we see, CycloDS update, then the beta's combined to create the v1.9 Edge OS. Suspicious none the less but a very very strong suggestion, that Edge is just a less supported sister of TC and only receive updates that the Cyclo confirms working and not the beta platforms.

Once again, strong support of the Edge Card should stay resolute as it's a very well built card and perfection of a Cyclo clone.

Keep it up, and well done Edge for being not far behind, will certainly update and stay with their product

This is a welcome surprise. It shows that team edge have broken away from the normal point releases and updated the card half way through the usual CycloDS beta cycle. I hope this isn't just because of the recent high profile releases and they continue to support the card with frequent updates.

i'm so glad i went with EDGE then and not the R4 (which was the fad among cheap flashcarts then).

btw, i got a question. ever since 1.45 (i think), i've never updated my cheats.dat, only using the EDGE firmware. is it needed for the game fixes, or are those fixes all built into firmware itself? i'm holding on to my old cheat.dat, mainly because i got hot custom codes there for a few games that are not mainstream. plus, it's also a way to keep from tempting myself from cheating more (no cheats available means no cheat, period).

I was surprised that the new firmware is 1.9. Why not 1.82 or some other name because the fix only for some game and not include new fiture.
