Does the wii support DVD+R?
More specifically TDK DVD+R 1-16x 4.7gb Data/Video?

Yes the Wii supports DVD+R as long as you set the booktype to DVD-ROM.

I can confirm I have watched movies burned on DVD+R on my Wii. Both divx and full DVD movies.

Ok, ive found the lil' book thing and it says "Change Booktype" but now it comes up with some tabs with "Welcome!", "BenQ", "LG", "LITE-ON"... What should I do?

k, go into the LG tab.

in the "change for" box, pick "Drive (for DVD+R)"

then for "new setting" pick "DVD-ROM" then pick change.

If it works, you may or may not need to change this every time you start IMGburn.

"Success!"
Burning now, will post back if it works.
Oh yeah, I made the burn speed x3.
Oh no! I need to close WMP to run it! :/

what a sec...I thought that if the wii reads dvd+r it weakens the lens...but if you set it to dvd-rom or sumthing this fixes the problem?
