If I were you, I'd ignore anything he posts, retro. He's really not worth the trouble. mathyu, learn to back the hell off. Bunie and the others will get better help if you lay off of the childish insults.
I can assure you retro, that what you said about pong was indeed correct, thus, ending the friendship between he and I. I don't like fake people.


However, the best way to get someone to help you Bunie would be to call a truce and end all of the bickering here. If you really want to learn, the first step would have to be respect from both parties. Leave all of the drama behind and you'll probably get the answers you need.

Fighting back and forth has obviously led to nothing but consequences, so how about a turn around? It's safe to say, you'll get better responses that way.

If you are willing to share what you know, I bet people who know about the infolib will probably be willing to share.

And heck, maybe even some people will give you some pointers on your shared extinfo information, telling you where else to look.

Perhaps if more people knew, maybe more will work on patches that way MORE can understand the process.

I've told retro i respect his ability and i have reached out to him. He knows the stuff, and i don't. If he doesn't want to make the updates anymore, i am willing to take his place if he allows it.

i said i have a basic understanding of how it works, i have yet to actualy fix anything. Again, this isnt "my turf". i am just willing to try if retro is really leaving the scene.

So Bunie, you know how to get extinfo data? For example this one easy process, get fixed hex from patched rom for clean rom using DeSuMe or other emulator? That's all I know about extinfo... if you want the info how, just PM me

But~! i will admit im still lost on infolibs. im comparing your work and the hex of mario vs dk and i can find no relation as of yet. i heard you mention an offset before? do you mean its pushed over one, or do you mean 0E becomes 0F?

That infolibmaker.nds only makes infolibs for games that can boot successfully without the libs. The point in this tool is to make roms boot quicker.

if your speaking about another tool, an actual PC (not NDS) tool, Then I'm interested.

I said that's what i did, i copied the fix from 6.38 and applied it to 6.39. I never said otherwise, i did not make the fix, retro did, and i said all credit goes to retro. (well maybe i said 99%? I don't recall.)

Super Scribblenauts (E) Works on the libs i uploaded, i played it an hour ago.

I'm going to take a short break from all this. If anyone finds out anything, it'd mean a lot to me if i was informed!

I've spent days at a time searching through the roms and the memory and trying to find some kind of connection between them. its stressing me out a good bit.

EDIT: if you show me a lib with it working, and you really cant manage to merge it yourself, Upload the libs with it working and i will get around to merging them for you.
