If it's running slower AFTER the format, you used the wrong settings.tbgtbg said:I recently did that with my SD card (a 1gb Kingston japan) not because I'd been having any performance issues, but because I was using it for something else for a while, so I figured it might be good to format it while all my DS stuff was off of it, and anyway, now it's actually running SLOWER in the DSTT menu than it did before I used the panasonic formatter.Glacius0 said:Try formatting them with the panasonic formatter. Same thing super long read speed. Then just to confirm it wasn`t just the rom I loaded everything on 2gb card and no problem.
OR maybe its just because its the Taiwan ones. I have heard the Japan ones are better?

I'm not sure what the right settings are, maybe someone else can tell you though.

I played around with many different combinations (sd cards, ttds cards, roms, different versions of 1.17, everything!!!)ecewarrior_mk said:I've used few different brands of SD cards and never encountered any slowdowns (on save creation and ROM loading).
i'm currently using a Taiwan-made Kingston SD. no problems so far.
are you sure you bought a REAL one (SD or TTDS)?
