Hi All,

If someone with a little more know how than myself could offer some help with my Ds Lite fault, it would be much appreciated.
Hoping this is nothing major, but here is the symptoms -

DS lite powers on with Yellow led for split second, bottom screen flashes also for slit second then DS powers off.
However, if I open the DS fully (all the way back on last click) it works ok. As soon as you touch the top screen with any kind of pressure, it turns off again. Even a slight movement of top screen shuts it down.

Hoping this may be an easy fix and just a need a little help as to where to look

Thanks in advance!

Sound somewhat simar to the fault in friend's DS. It probably is because of bad top screen cable or connection. I am not sure if it is going to be easy at all because replacing top screen
would be hardest of DSL maintenances, just because soldering is required as well.

An it could also be just the motherboard, since I cannot be sure...

Edit: Nevermind that I read something wrong....

The ribbon could be bad or it may not be seated right....
