You know, I never noticed

Doesn't seem to bother anyone though.

I can't wait to see Menudo either...

I think you may have missed my question (or you just didn't feel like answering it
tongue.gif
), so I'll just ask it again. Can you update this for compatibility for when new ROMs come out just like flashcarts update their firmware? If you could it'd be extremely useful for R4 users since the updates have stopped on their card.

I loved DSision 1 so I'm really excited about this. It'll be a tough decision between DSision 2 and Menudo (which is looking great).

So if this program was used on an R4 the compatibility would be better than their stock firmware?

I think the compatibility should be better than the stock R4 firmware, I'm not 100% sure though. Is there any particular game I should test that doesn't work with the R4 firmware?

there's a nice wiki with a frequently updated R4 compatibility list.

http://wiki.scorpei.com/index.php/R4_compatibility_list

it even includes homebrew compatibility.

you know how ysmenu you can update compatibility by chucking in a thing and run a program?
maybe you could ask yasu if you can "borrow" that for dsision2.

Looking pretty great spinal!

I'm curious though, why certain types of cards will be able to have commercial rom loading, while others will not? Unfortunately, what I know about programming does not extend to such gray areas.

Anyway, will be definitely using this when it comes out.

I think it has something to do with the hardware and the internal loader, but what do I know?

About your menu-
I am VERY happy that you are making it compatible with the r4 AND TTDS, because, well, those are the two cards that i have.

The only reason i wanted to get a m3 real is because of sakura. Sakura is awesome, but i would prefer your menu over it anyways.

The menu looks awesome, my outdated r4's menu looks like crap.
I hope you dont run into any bumps in the road while coding.

There have already been a few bumps, one of which i regret to say, I'm being a little lazy about fixing.
I can at least tell you guys, that the main part of the menu is in perfect working order (as shown in the video) so if I get too bored with it, it is in a releasable state (although unfinished) and does what I originally intended it to do.

I do have a question though, did people like the clock in the old version? (DSision) Should I put the same clock into this version, or are people happy with just a little one in the top corner?

Well, its shows it can boot commercial roms

Nice looking menu.
I see that before, you had a cover-flow type thing going on.
Does that change with the theme?

So, you are saying that theme creators would be able to define the icon positions, icon placement, acceleration, and the 3D angle? Cause, well, even if it was a limited selection of options, it would still be awesome.

And my personal opinions-
The loading of folders is quite slow, I am just taking a guess, but is it loading the icons and information into the RAM that is causing a slowdown?
I love the themeing you can do.
I LOVE how it works with loading roms and homebrew.
I love how the games look like cartridges with the icon on it.
Its a custom-menu!

I am very interested in the skinning possibilities, can you describe, briefly, how much is customizable?
And one last thing, you said it was compatible with the r4, no? So does this mean the M3 Simply also? I know it is basically a official clone, but it does use different firmware. (Well, MODIFIED firmware)

Thanks.
