Hacking DSi xl

Good day GBAtemp, i recently bought the DSI xl, im new to this console and would like to ask what i need to play homebrews and gamehacks?

A flashcart or use the recently posted Sudoku hack (though it can only play a few homebrew games. To figure out which flashcart to get, read the reviews on this website. To find the Sudoku Hack check out the front page. To find some homebrew, check out the forums or FileTrip.net.

If you're considering the R4 be careful which one you choose. Not all of them work on the DSi/XL and not all of them can run the Wood R4 firmware. Make sure you select one that is compatible with both.

Or just play it safe and go for the AceKard2i with AKAIO.

Get a R4iGold. It's cheaper than Acekard 2i, has better build quality, and better firmware(Wood). I have both cards and can attest to the R4i being a better card.

I bought the EZVi and it works great on my DSi XL. Plays all rom, backups perfectly, homebrew too, even releases new firmwares to better compatibility very frequently. And was only like 20-25 dollars including shipping but with no microsd as my phone had a 16gb one all ready.
