Hacking DSi XL

I was going to buy an AceKard 2i for my cousin's DSi-XL but now it looks like it won't work out of the box. Is there any flash card that will work with the XL that doesn't require any additional work?

You could always get the AK 2i and a microSD card from shoptemp and let them update it. However, I know that the DSTWO works with a DSi on FW 1.4 without doing anything (but it'll cost you more than the Acekard).

perhaps you could invest on a dstwo after all this acekard2i is for dsi and under and since the 3ds has ap(anti-piracy) in it and the acekard2i may not work and also Nintendo will be rolling out updates to block flashcards and when they do the supercard team will be ready

Not to talk too much about this but:
1) bigger additional stylus (phat)
2) far better battery life
3) many have reported better sound from the speakers compared to previous units
4) bigger unit said to bring more comfort to the hands, too.
