You don't need the fix. If the Acekard shows up as Danny Phantom (which should only show in a DSi), then you shouldn't have any problems with the Acekard.

ok then since I see the acecard 2i logo it means I lack the 1.4 updated or so I hope. Also if you want a pic of my ds drop
me your email and illsend it now, or just wait till 5 e
EST and I'll try the 1.4 and pos a video if things remain to be borked

I dont have to do anything..I already own a DS Lite but I dont have to do the fix..just pop the card into the DSi XL and Im good to go..I wonder what happened with the other guy and why it was not working. I am ordering it from amazon.com so I dont want to buy it then find out it doesnt work..that is why I was kinda obsessed to find out if it had firmware 1.4 on it..it comes out tomorrow so someone here in the US must have gotten hold of it already

But of course it will work.............if you did some research is says right here what you need to do before trying an AK2i into a DSi ( or DSi XL since they are virtually the same ).
All this talking and alarming...........OMG IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!!
Have some common sense and just follow the tutorial, OK ? How much easier could it get ?

that means I dont have to do anything right..I pretty much take their word for it that they already put in the fix and its all good..I only have a DS Lite so I have never even tested my card on a DSi before so I have no clue so I just have to take their word for it

It should workright out of the box, yes. And if it doesn't for some reason, you can use your DSL to flash your AK2i with the 1.4 fix. It's no big deal, just make sure your DSL is plugged in, run the flasher and wait a minute when it does its thing.

I have a DS Lite..not a DSi,,so I'm hoping my AceKard works..I was gonna buy a DSi but when I heard about the DSi XL I decided to wait..I just hope my AceKard ends up working with the DSi Xl..I have been waiting a long time for this release..mine is the real deal with AKAIO always works and I never have any issues, but I did read how some people have problems with the AceKard not fitting or its loose or something, that is something I would have no clue how to take care of

Well, any 1.4 flashcart will work. Acekard is just the best right now.
