Homebrew Dsi Ware Downgrade

After doing the dsiware nfirm downgrade succesfully on my n3ds 11.1, do i format system? i heard you can brick when downgrading to 9.2 if you dont format, etc. what do i do to not mess this up? i already downgraded my nfirm and want to downgrade to 9.2 without bricking. thanks.

No, there's no need to format the system. Just use the SysUpdater to downgrade.

Just curious. I saw a thread somewhere where they stated that they were able to use any DSi title for the software injection method? is this true? https://3ds.guide/dsiware-downgrade-(save-injection) this is the guide and this is the injection list just wondering if it would work the same https://3ds.guide/dsiware-list

As the list states, you can use any game that meets the size requirements. If you're talking about waithax though, no, you can not use any DSiWare game to downgrade with waithax. It must be one of the specific four.

I've read that too about bricking in the 3ds guide. The most recent version of the guide says however, that these bricks were apparently all caused by systems who hadn't formatted and used waithax to downgrade. By your description, you did not use waithax.

That N3DS is on 11.2 then I guess? Otherwise you could just hack that console if on 11.1 or less. There's literally no way to get your hand on those titles as pirated versions do not work.

my hacked 3ds is on 11.0.0 im tryin to downgrade that. both are N3ds one is hacked with 11.0.0 the other one has 11.2.0

It's an Old 3DS though? The only way to get Four Swords on the 3DS is system transfer, but you can't system transfer from N3DS to O3DS. if they're both new, then you can with the use of ctr-httpwn even if they're different FW.

If it's an Old 3DS you can't do anything right now. Maybe we'll hear some good news about future exploits after the 33c3 convention on 27-30th of December so for now you should just wait. ... OR buy an used 2DS (cuz they're cheap) with 10.7 or less FW and hack it, then use that to hack both of your other consoles.

both are N3ds one is hacked with 11.0.0 the other one has 11.2.0... the irony is that I have a hacked old 3ds with 9.2.0 on it but both screens went out on me.
