USA, DSTTi with 1.17, DSI 1.3U before and after, Yes it works.
1.3U before and after upgrade - How - an upgrade is from one version to another. I guess you meant 1.2U before and 1.3U after
Also was the v1.17 the official DSTTi firmware or the 'Fake Killer Disabled' version ??

Yo, from Scotland. Finally got my DSTTi from DX after 2 weeks waiting.
1.3E DSi, 1.17 DSTTi, and it works great!
Just a quick question since you havn't stuck all the info I requested in post 1

Is the '1.17 DSTTi' the official firmware or the 1.17 'fake-killer' version, I also guess that you originally had 1.2E firmware & that it all worked fine before the upgrade

It's the official, direct from the DSTT website.

GUYS... URGENT!! I MADE A HORRIBLE MISTAKE!!
IF YOU ARE USING DSTTi DONT UPGRADE TO 1.4U... I did, now my DSTTi is not recognized, it gives me a error messages and prompt to power off the NDSi...
If anyone got info about how to fix this I will really really appreciate it.
Hope this post will help you guys.

Don't rush it yet - depending on the card you have - you MIGHT be able to update it to get around the nintendo block

Wow ok so let's see you'd rather pay 100+ dollars for another DS/DSi than wait a couple of weeks for a fix and possibly have to pay 25 dollars for a new flashcart?

he could always take his dsi back to the store and exchange it for another, all the ones in the shops are probally older stock that have older firmware....

Ah but it depends on the shop - Some shops won't take back a DSi unless proved to be faulty , they won't swap a fully working DSi just because you 'accidentally' upgraded it & now it won't work with your flashcard

open up the dsi (its held together with small philips screws) then unplug the touchscreen cable, (a small connector at top left of the mainboard simular to the ds) put it all back together then u can prove its 'faulty'

Yes but that's tricking them into giving you a new one which is illegal.
