open up the dsi (its held together with small philips screws) then unplug the touchscreen cable, (a small connector at top left of the mainboard simular to the ds) put it all back together then u can prove its 'faulty'

Yes but that's tricking them into giving you a new one which is illegal.

and your point being...

Technically having a flashcard to play ROMs is illegal as well so I don't think someone with a flashcard will lose any sleep over swapping a DSi illegally

Yes but a DSi is 150+ dollars a game could sometimes go for 10, plus it's a little different when you physically do something illegal that pertains to getting something free/new.

Meh, it's not worth arguing over.

My only way to go, is to sell it...

Wow ok so let's see you'd rather pay 100+ dollars for another DS/DSi than wait a couple of weeks for a fix and possibly have to pay 25 dollars for a new flashcart?
hehe... no... what I meant to say is that I´ll sell the flashcard to a NDSL user or maybe someone that will not update the console (little boys maybe). The M3i zero looks good, lets see what happens in the next days. I cant wait for something like the wii scene.
