<b>What comes with the DSi</b>
- DSi (NOOO WAY!!!)
- 1 DSi Charger
- 1 Extra stylus
- Instruction Booklets

<b>Explanation: Setup & Use</b>
<i>Settings</i>: You can change the User, Parental Controls, Internet, do a System Update and blah.
<i>Camera</i>: You can take pictures, while using 11 different lenses (check "Camera" section for details), and even upload them to Facebook <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
<i>Web Browser</i>: Surf the web, but remember: the DSi cannot handle flash so Youtube and playing flash games are impossible. Though there are DSi websites where you can play games (check "Web Browser Sites" for list)
<i>DSi Ware Shop</i>: This shop includes DSi Ware games (games only for the DSi) which you use Nintendo Points to purchase.
<i>DSi Sound</i>: Record your voice and edit the using the DSi Sound to make it funny or something. You can also play music from you SD card, but it only plays AAC files (convert music to that in iTunes!)
<i>Pictochat</i>: Chat with your friends which can be only 100 ft. Away!
<i>DS Download</i>: Used for multiplayer purposes.
<i>Parental Controls</i>: Used to protect/block certain rated games and apps with a pin. Very useful for <strike>kids</strike> parents.

Well, it also comes with Flipnote (animating application).
If you have a limited edition DSi it might come with some free extra DSi Ware games.

Very nice, has a sleek folding design, the screens are a bit bigger than the DS Lite, has a matte finish and fit nicely into your hands.
Unlike the DS Lite, the outside of the DSi is very hard to get dirty.
However, it is very hard clean unless you have cleaning supplies because of the matte finish... So don't get sweat, grease, pee on it.
What I love though is when you press the power button once, you go to the DSi menu.
You can also change the screen light anytime, just press SELECT + VOLUME UP/DOWN
No GBA slot <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohnoes.png" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="D:" border="0" alt="ohnoes.png" />

The speakers kinda improved. DSl or DSi, the speakers are the same-ish.

The stylus is nice, nothing great... It's a bit longer the the DS Lite's... You hold it like you'd hold a pen...

<b>DSi Menu</b>

It's similar to the iphone's and ipod touch's, because of the sliding,
and the mini square icons. You can even drag the icons to organize.

<i>The scrolling is very smooth, and you can easily drag icons to organize. The music is horrible though...
You can see you time & date easily.</i> <b>8.5/10</b>

[title:DSi Menu]

Top Screen - It's like a wallpaper. If views one of the photos you took.

<img src="http://pix.gbatemp.net/195565/IMG_7985.JPG" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Bottom Screen - similar to the ipod touch/iphone

<img src="http://pix.gbatemp.net/195565/IMG_7986.JPG" border="0" class="linked-image" />

<b>Settings</b>

As I already said, "You can change the User, Parental Controls, Internet, do a System Update and blah."
But what's cool is that when you save your settings you don't have to turn your DSi off to save, you can just continue on with you setting things.

<i>Easy to navigate, and it allows you to edit many stuff on the DSi.</i> <b>9/10</b>

Top Screen - Just shows your profile/user/whatever you call it.

<img src="http://pix.gbatemp.net/195565/IMG_7988.JPG" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Bottom - Settings menu... blah

<img src="http://pix.gbatemp.net/195565/IMG_7989.JPG" border="0" class="linked-image" />

<b>Camera</b>

One of the biggest features on the DSi. Take pictures, edit them, with 11 different lenses/effects!

<i>Very fun to play with, and the lenses work nicely. The face detector get's confused easily,
and the colour lenses don't really know their colours. Picture takes are kinda OKAY quality (ext. cam: 3mp | int. cam: 0.3mp) .</i> <b>8/10</b>

<i>Normal</i>: It's normal... or is it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":O" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />
<i>Distortion</i>: People call this the best effect; mess up your face by sliding the stylus, or hold up on the d-pad to make stuff bigger, hold down to make stuff smaller, and left/right or swirl it...
<i>Graffiti</i>: Doodle effect! DRAW DRAW DRAW!
<i>"Colour"</i>: Stupid effect. Turns the whole pic B&W, and tap a certain area and it wil regain it's colour. *I spell color colo<b>u</b>r cause im Canadian <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
<i>Colourpad</i>: Swaps certain colours you tapped (the colour detector thing is stupid so it basically changes the whole picture to one colour). *Good if you want to make yourself an avatar xD (avatar as in avatar the movie)
<i>Mirror</i>: Adds a variety of mirror effects.
<i>Mischief</i>: Detects where certain parts of your face are and adds funny stuff to it (e.g pig nose).
<i>Emoter</i>: Detects where certain parts of your face are and adds an emotion... I.O.W. distorts your face to make it e.g mad.
<i>Merge</i>: Take a picture of two faces and you can merge the two pictures.
<i>Resemblance</i>: Take a picture of two faces at the same time and the camera decides how alike you two are.
<i>Frame</i>: My favourite effect <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />. Take photos within a frame.. And make your own frame: e.g take a picture of Micheal Jackson and erase his face to put your face in his face <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Now the pictures:

What the camera screen looks like.

<img src="http://pix.gbatemp.net/195565/IMG_7992.JPG" border="0" class="linked-image" />

What the album looks like (faces blocked for privacy):

<img src="http://pix.gbatemp.net/195565/IMG_7993.JPG" border="0" class="linked-image" />

<b>Web Browser</b>

The best web browser for the DS. Way better than those homebrew made web apps.

<i>Great web browser for the DSi. Way better than the homebrew ones.
It takes a long time to load however. You can even zoom in on pages for text reasons or picture reasons,
which is great; I use it a lot. Plus, DSi supports WPA too <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /></i> <b>9/10</b>

<b>DSi Ware Shop</b>

Buy your DSi Ware games (DSi only games, and not hacked yet) here.
Buy Nintendo Points (FRIGGN EXPENSIVE) in order to obtain the DSi Ware game(s) you want.
View the <a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=206581" target="_blank">DSi Ware Essentials</a> for a list of the most recommended games.

<i>It is very organized, w/ the recommended and points categories.
There really isn't any free DSi Ware aside from the Web Browser and Flipnote, which really sucks.
Nintendo Points are expensive IMO. The downloading is pretty fast however. Again, pages load very slow.</i> <b>7.5/10</b>

<b>DSi Sound</b>

Record and edit you voices:

Make it faster/slower, higher/lower, and different effects such as "tunnel", "robot", "low harmony", and/or "trumpet" (WTF USELESS).

You can also play music from the SD card you purchased seperately.
Though, the DSi only plays AAC files. You can easily convert your mp3 files to AAC using this <a href="http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1550" target="_blank">GUIDE</a>.

<i>The recording quality is great, but it only allows 10 seconds of recording.
The speed effect effects the quality of the recording.
The other effects (fan, robot), work well. The music player quality is just like Moonshell. Very nice, but it only plays AAC files <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/closedeyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sleep:" border="0" alt="closedeyes.gif" /> </i> <b>9/10</b>

<b>Flipnote</b>

Comes free with every DSi. It's a great animation application.
There's also a online sharing website where you can download and share animations!

<i>This is a great application. There's a variety of brushes, 2 colours and layers, and you can even record your own sounds!
The Flipnote sharing website runs smoothly, but sometimes you lose connection.
You can rate animations, submit your own, and download some! It all runs smoothly.</i> <b>10/10</b>

<img src="http://pix.gbatemp.net/195565/IMG_7997.JPG" border="0" class="linked-image" />

<b>Overall: 8.5/10</b>

(i'll skip Pictochat, DS Download and Parental Controls)

<!--hr--><hr title=""/><!--/hr-->

Below is the pros, basically what improved from the DS Lite.

<!--coloro:#00FF00--><span style="color:#00FF00"><!--/coloro-->Pros<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->:

+ Able to change the screen light anytime (SELECT + VOLUME UP/DOWN)
+ Better Web Browser the the homebrew ones
+ Camera
+ DSi Ware
+ Organized DSi Firmware
+ SD card can be used as extra storage
+ SDHC support
+ Supports WPA/WPA2 network security

<!--coloro:#FF0000--><span style="color:#FF0000"><!--/coloro-->Cons<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->:

- No GBA slot
- Only plays AAC music files
- No user choice for which "free" games are included
- Does not support flash
- DSi isn't hacked so homebrew using DSi mode is currently impossible.

The Pi said:
One thing A DSi itself doesn't have "Micro SDHC support" you need either a flashcard or a microSD to SD adapter.

Whoops, I'll edit that!
Thanks for noting that

Sorry, by accident I left out part of the Greater Explanation..
Without it, it's just like i'm trying to sell it

Now it seems like a normal review.

Sorry for double posting, I just wanted to give an update
