oh..and I think that Team Supercard is going to have to create another flashcart....

there is no way that a single firmware update is going to enable DSi mode.

I think that as well.

But I don't think that a lot of people will buy a DSThree if there are already two different DSi cards available at that time.
DUDE DSTWO AP bypass is 100 times better than AKAIO

here's your fact

it currently has no commercial dsi rom support. you can't read/write from the sd after code as run from slot-1 (limitation of the hardware). they haven't unlocked the nand. dsi-ware hasn't been decrypted. so right now this is a cyclods that offers the potential of dsi homebrew (faster cpu clock, more ram, access to the camera).

is that worth $50? it will depend on what they do with homebrew. a movie player running in dsi mode would be pretty sweet. emulation has so much potential. the trick is, how do you get people to code those projects if you are only willing to offer them a $50 flash kit in return?

as for the acekard vs dstwo the acekard even with akaio is inferior to the dstwo
you're too stupid to listen to anyone who told you the truth, just ask rydan.
so believe your delusions..and ignore the fact..

I'm tired for your ignorance and stupidity, spamming and flaming for post counts everyday, like you have no life
and yes you did start it

lol. Because DSi mode will be a part of the 3DS!

No 3DS without DSi mode. It's as simply as that! Hurry, SC fanboys! Hurry!

so for now on, I'm not going to respond to you no more and I'm just going to report you every time you flame

can someone point to me were in the cyclodsi info it says it will play DSi games ?

just thought i'd point these posts out, they're in order of the date they were posted

Dont you think that the supercard team would have already released a DSi mode flash cart if they could make one?

If TC never announced their DSi mode flash cart, all the DSTWO-DSi-mode talking would not taking place at all.

Just accept it, DSTWO with DSi mode is not gonna happen, period.

Have you even read the SC team's message?
It states that they're going to study the iEvo and how it functions and then create a DSi mode firmware flasher for the DStwo if it's possible.

well...only time will tell

I don't really care for using the features of the DSi Mode, but I'm just glad they finally were able to do it.

It gives everyone a little more hope on whether the 3DS will be hacked or not.

Yes, but they can reverse engineer their competitors cart as much as they can, if the common-key was an important part of TC's cart, they would still need the same key. Now guess how high the possibility is, that the SC team aquired it somehow? The fact, that the SC team released a DS mode only cart with additional built-in RAM and CPU (not to mention the illegal bypass code all current DSi flash carts use) only indicates that the team are not in possession of the key.

But you have to ask yourself, if SC team want to reverse engineer TC's cart, would it not be better to reverse engineer the DSi itself? The answer is yes, it would be better, but ONLY if they have the key.

Why dont you think Wii homebrew was possible quite early? Because Team Twiizers somehow aquired the common-key with their "tweezer attack". They did not bruteforce it, they found it in the RAM. But unfortunately the DSi works a bit different than a Wii. There's no common-key in the DSi's RAM. Without the key, how do you want to decrypt and analyse stuff in order to build a DSi mode cart?

My claim still stands, an epic hacker who wants to stay anonymous bruteforced the key with an expensive device and sold it to TC. Prove me wrong.

Grr....all this DSi talk

All the tempers at GBAtemp wanted DSi Mode a lot

But the grinch who checked down upon it did not.

He stood there and looked down, his purchase was fruitless

And looked at his phat, which would soon be quite useless.

The devs would all go to the new mode and stay

While the plain DS users lose their sdk.

And the grinch had decided that this must be caught...

Screw DSi, on release day, a 3DS he bought.

So for all of the SCers with old lites and phats

Don't envy the Cyclo for we all know that

Come 3DS, it will be a useless fart

And we will all laugh playing 3D OOT and Mario Kart.

...there's my take on this.

LOL
