ROM Hack DSi Hardware Hacking (Modding)

Dude you're not going to be able to do this. Get it through your thick skull. Come back in 2 years and MAYBE you'll be able to do it and that's only if you've learned that you also need to know how to CODE. Also you better make sure you can code really fucking good and have a way to unbrick your DSi because if you make the smallest mistake you're going to brick it.

Well... This is the way it goes,eventually someone has to crack it,its part of nature(lol). And who says he isn't the one,I don't even care if it was a 1 year old who tripped and fell on his DSi and accidentally altered the firmware in a flash cart and unlocked DSi mode. Which would mean we learned it could be cracked through firmware and not a new cart. =P He mite bring us 1 step closer,example. "Don't touch that round thing... It broke my card.."

My logic may be flawed but I think someone can get a little laugh off of this. lol

Coding for the PC or DS =/= hacking the DSi hardware.
Not even remotely close... and based on the kinds of questions this guy asked, he's got NO clue how it works.
The whole idea of encryption had to be explained to him as for why you can't just dump the info off the DS and use that info to make either 3rd party firmware or get the key to sign apps.

I did also and while he did post something along the lines of programming (which stated what he was doing no actually tech lingo) I still haven't seen proof. When I see something he actually altered, created, etc. then I'll acknowledge him as such.

Hahahahahaha. Encryption is when a file/text is encrypted using a common key. Depending on which encryption algorithm you use it can be harder or easier to crack. I know that Nintendo's encryption method is really good, which is why I asked a big group of people to brainstorm and help me achieve this goal!
