i remember a website i used maybe 5 years ago that had a lot of flipnotes that you could download i cant seem to find that site anymore or even find anywhere to download flipnotes

I'm not sure if they let you download, but Sudomemo and IPGFlip are the only two flipnote hatena replacement servers afaik, they both let you want flipnotes online at least.
