LOL I'm only 14 and I can't hardmod, or send things over mail and my parents would flip shit if they knew I hacked shit, So I guess keep my DSi for no reason?
I would say keep it, yeah. You might not be able to fix it now, but you might down the road.

Convince them to allow you to buy a soldering iron and some wire.

I hardmodded my O3DS XL when I was almost 13. I'm 15 now.

I don't feel confident trying to solder, also they probably wouldn't buy a soldering iron for me. So I guess when I have a job I could just buy another DSi, instead of hardmodding when older, because by then HiyaCFW and RocketLauncher will be out by then.

But I would have to remember more goddamn CIDs and Console IDs. I might be able to find a DSi at the Firmware 1.4U. I wonder if I could use the same backup but change the CID and Console ID.

I never felt confident either, but I went to a computer-tech summer camp and i asked a crap ton of question and practiced soldering on boards to make lights work. definitely helps if you ask questions and take your time!

lol when I get my own mailbox lol I could probably send my DSi to someone would could hardmod for me.

Sounds like you had a corrupted SD card. Before restoring a NAND dump on any system (that requires said dump to be read from an SD card), check your storage medium for corruption first.
[Windows] [Linux] [Mac]
Even if you didn't have a corrupted card, and instead just bad luck, it would be a good idea to check anyway.

I restored my Downgraded NAND and it said Error: 1-2435-8325 on both screens

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Now it's a blank screen. -.-
that error means the cid / consoleid of the image doesnt match the one on your console.

Someone mentioned the nand image worked in No$GBA - did you remove the footer before trying to reflash it?

Everytime I use FWTool (safe version) I tried to backup my hacked nand_dsi.bin it tells me:
"Found MBR in nand_dsi.bin.
Image is not encrypted.
Operation aborted."
I have encrypted my nand multiple times. Even with the help of @dpad_5678 and @ThisIsDaAccount and other guides it didn't help, multiple versions of FWTool, TWLTool, Different SD Cards and encryption methods. I used the leaked ugopwn. But the FWTool doesn't even restore a freshly dumped NAND. I'm trying to restore my Downgraded 1.4 U but it doesn't work the error appears everytime. It even works in NO$GBA.

The code to check MBR is simple and sound, you're restoring an decrypted nand image.

And what exactly do you mean by "encrypted my nand multiple times"? the encryption on NAND is symmetric, basically if you "encrypt" a file twice, it goes back to decrypted.

:/ Can I backup without soldering and shit?
The question you should be asking is "How can I restore the backup", if you don't have some basic understanding, I'll have to say you were doomed to fail.

He said "Different SD Cards" so...

Oh. Maybe they were all corrupted...?
It wouldn't help if the NAND was first backed up to a corrupt SD card, and then moved to a non-corrupt SD card. But I think I'm just grasping for straws here...

Creating a hash file along with the dump should be the next feature for fwtool
