I checked out some of the DSi flashcards you recommended AK2i which is good because on dealextreme its pretty cheap, but you said iTouch 2 is cheapers which isnt the case on that site am I missing something? Also is there a estimated price for the M3 Real i? would it be worth waiting for, the note on there website said a month, but that was posted almost 2 months ago.

Edit: Also what is Sakura compatibility?

Edit2: It sucks that onl the AK2i has a review on gbatemp, so its hard to compare the other ones, just say a persons post about them bricking the DSi with it, would it happene to non firmware update DS's aka DS Phat and DSL?

Well...the iTouch2 is cheaper than the Ak2i except for on dealextreme...

Anyways yes it would be worth waiting for the M3 Reali which will have Sakura compatibility. Sakura compatibility is compatibility for the alternate firmware for the original M3 Real. And I'm not exaggerating here, it is the best flashcart firmware out there. It's beautiful, it plays music and videos without the need for a homebrew app, and it's much more advanced than most other flashcart firmwares.

It's just awesome...I wouldn't rather have any other firmware...

How much longer must we wait, and im still not understanding this alternate firmware, I thought custom firmware was possible on the DSi yet? Could you explain more i have experiance with any flashcards. Also any estimate on how much the M4 Real i will be close to what the other two are (iTouch 2 and Ak2i) or much more like those R4's and stuff which confuses me as to why one with 3 different DS compatibility and mostly same functionality? would be 40 dollars as appose to 15 to 20.

Edit:Also since deal extreme doesn't seem to be a good place, where should i be buying these?

Strike that out, there will be not M3 Reali. Instead there will be an M3i Zero, it will have an updateable kernel like the ak2i, and an updateable boot flash. Plus you the firmware is completely customizable, and it will support Sakura.

WAHOO!

They said it will be released in 10 days!

Hmm no price set, how much do they usually go for do you think it will be more then 20? If it is do you think its still worth it? I can wait 10 days and find out anyway.

It might be a little more than 20 but it would definetly be worth it because it supports Sakura, it has an updateable kernel and bootloader (which makes it like so that there's a very high chance if Nintendo releases an update to block it you can just run an update for this flashcart and it'll work again). And the firmware is completely customizable and open-source, so if the community here wants a problem fixed right now then we can fix it our selves and give it to everyone else.

(The M3 team will of course continue to send out updates itself too)

Hmm a little more than 20? so like 25-30? I mean its sounds like a great card, especially if I do upgrade to a DSi. I wish there was a little more info on it, like how the interface looks, how much it costs. Hell if I knew at least how much it would cost and though it was reasonable Id say I'd like an option to preorder it just so I know ill get it as soon as it comes out. One question, I think it was mention in your FAQ how they haven't truly unlocked the DSi's power, do you think this flashcart has a chance of being able to take advantage of that hidden power eventually?

I'm guessing it'll be in the $30-$40 range since it's a premium card from a well known brand.

The DSi itself hasn't been hacked yet. Nobody has been able to take advantage of the DSi's upgraded memory, processor, camera, SD card, etc. Bottom line is we don't know if current cards will be able to work with those features until it gets hacked.

30-40? why so much they can't be that much better then there competition to charge double that of there competitors?

Btw earlier I messed up my slot numbers the question should have asked is it possible load gba games (slot 2) from a (slot 1) nds flashcard?

I'm not quite sure about it, but to solve the DSI ' lowered ' battery life, could just use a HIGHER MAH battery to replace the 8xx MAH one currently?

Or will this like, mess up the system or something causing it to self destruct and explode with fragments flying around in the air.

Ok, so I think i might make the jump turns out Gamestop will give me 50 bucks for my shitty DS Phat, which is pretty good considering, this will take the DSi's price and bring it down to a DS Lites price, which I am ok with. One question though, it wasn't answered before, can you load GBA (Slot 2) games through a DS (Slot 1) flashcart? I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but I figured I'd ask worst case scenario I play GBA games on my PSP.
