But even when I use my flash cart to write the save to the cartridge on a DSi it doesn't work.
I would think there was either something wrong with your flashcart or maybe it just doesn't like the game's extra DSi features or something but I have no idea. Though I think the DSi-enhanced carts flip two identifiers around or something like that.

I'm not sure. It's very interesting that it seems the save could be transferred on the cart with a 3DS but not on a DSi. I know the flashcart works since I can transfer the save easily on a DS lite, so maybe it does have something to do with it's DSi features. But then why would it work on a 3DS? would it not boot in DSi mode also, and use the DSi identification? I want to test this as soon as I can find my 3DS.

Maybe someone on 1.4.0 with a hardmod could compare hash of title with NUSD downloaded one...

Also I searched on dsibrew, it seem like they only give the firmware where the title was updated but they don't give any sport of " This fw contain this titles..."

Strange... When I wanted to use fwtool 1.6 on a DS(i) XL with a flashcard, it's say it is not a dsi...

Because fwtool is running in DS mode on a flashcart, nor would fwtool via flashcart work for downgrading anyways since it wouldn't have NAND access. It's the whole reason a DSiWare based entrypoint or a hardmod is necessary.

Thank. I just wanted to test, I already know physical cartridge does nopt have NAND access.

Hmm. I wonder why can't write the save to the game on a DSi then?
Sure you can; a DSi disables power to slot-1 if you try to swap cards (so does a 3DS in DS/DSi mode, of course it's not an issue if you're using 3DS-mode save managers)

but this can be fixed with a simple hardmod (connect the 2 pins on the side of the slot-1), or that Blaze 3-game selector thing for DS lite

Too bad RL needs 1.4.0 in order to do that. Now we need to either downgrade or upgrade to 1.4.0. I would really like this guide to be cleaned up and add more thing with TWLTool and other exploitable cart games that can work with older firmware. Maybe more hardmod information would be a good idea too.
If you follow the guide you'll be downgraded to 1.4.0. (version data will still say 1.4.5, but the launcher and settings titles will be at the exploitable versions).

I'm not sure....

Let's take a look at this: http://dsibrew.org/wiki/Title_list#United_States_2

System menu ver 512 was the first USA released one. So basically it is dsi v1.3.0. So not 1.4.

1 system menu update after, it is 1.4. So if I understand system menu 1.4 on NUS is the v768 one? (Btw it is the same thing on Europe and other dsi except Japan) Please correct me if I'm wrong.

DSibrew is kind of an inaccurate source due to most of the information being written before the DSi private key leak. Here's a chart I made that is more or less correct:

Well, I followed this guide, and got up to the part where I celebrate, except after flashing my nand, and re-assembling my DSi (I took the nand mod off since it was temporary), I now get the 0000FE00 error on boot. I looked at my points I soldered to, and they look... ok? I tried applying some solder to them (since I mostly used the resistors, but did the DAT0 on the side with the buttons). This made the DSi not even boot (the light came on). I messed with solder some more, and got the 0000FE00 error to pop up again consistantly. What can I do now to fix this? My 3 nand dumps were identical first try, and everything else was great till this point.

Pictures?

Pictures?
I wasn't able to get some good pictures, but I'm wondering if the pad for the CLK point on the back could be it, because it looks a little... beat up
Other than CLK on side A looking scratched off, most of the other parts look like they have a connection

EDIT:I'm looking to buy a broken one on ebay, As long as I get one with a working motherboard.
Can I still get this downgraded if the system has no DSiWare? Didn't nintendo shut down the dsishop?

A new exploit is coming with flipnote/dsi browser..... Also you'll be able to use fwtool to get everything you need + export this dsiware to get the consoleID
