I'm fairly sure DSx86 is a 286 emulator and Arena is 386.A Gay Little Cat Boy said:I am so testing Elder Scrolls Arena (has hopes it will work)

Yeah, didn't work. I was just hopping I would finally be able to play that game on my DS for onceBunie said:I'm fairly sure DSx86 is a 286 emulator and Arena is 386.A Gay Little Cat Boy said:I am so testing Elder Scrolls Arena (has hopes it will work)
Furthermore, i think Arena has a system requirement of 16MB of ram.
Also, DS2x86 is Buggy, and missing lots of opcode things. D;

thank you for what you are doingPate said:Thanks for the warm welcome to this forum, guys!
Elder Scrolls Arena should be supported at some point, the system requirements do not seem too bad (except that it seems to use 640x480 screen resolution, which will be difficult to fit nicely onto the 256x192 screen). I still have a lot to do with the 386 opcodes before it will run, though.
I am hoping to get back to the two-week release cycle with new and improved versions from now on, but let's see how it goes.

I really hope this is a dumb joke and you aren't serious. If you are... *facepalm*
Nah, you wouldn't really want this. A native SNES emulator is much faster than an emulator running in another emulator. By looking at the system requirements for ZSNES I guess you won't be happy running it in DS2x86. Apart from this we will have to see if pate can hit the "100% x86-compatibility" (I don't know the current status with his 286-compatibility) that ZSNES needs.GreatCrippler said:jeklnoo said:GreatCrippler said:Hmmm, any chance of ZSNES?

Hoping that a Dos based emulator can run on a dos emulator is a joke? Nope, dead serious. Facepalm away.

Just wanna' make sure you know how appreciated your efforts are.Pate said:Thanks for the warm welcome to this forum, guys!![]()
