For the last couple of months I've been working on a new program.

If you Like Offline List and Rominator or other programs to manage your roms, well here is DS Rom Organizer.

What does it do.. a lot ... I didn't have time to write the Help File yet.

Import Roms
Drag and Drop Support
Official DAT List
Pics / Nfo.
Trimmer
Archiver for Zip / RAR and 7z
Import Zip / 7z files
Genre's
Favorites
Userlist

and many more options.

Since internal testing is going on for the last few months, I decided to throw it as a Public Beta.

If you are interested in a copy and would like to give it a Test.
Send me an E-mail to [email protected]

If there are more people interested, then I will add GBA support in it.

Also, no need to use several programs. everything is now in 1 program.

Hi pka very nice to see haha you got really coding experience

hi... lol thanks. wasn't lying in the "DSO 3.3 HE" posting... lol

anyways,,,

yes Windows Only, BUT try it on a linus or whatever system that can handle a little bit of windows.
can't test it for myself.

everything works in the program. "Donate" button is optional, if you want something in the program, then would be nice if you could drop me a buck or 2 orso..
doing it for fun.

I already PMed you for a copy of this as I would like to test it.
one question.. is this soft portable.
i have my roms on a usb disk.. and i manage them from 3 different computers.. so if the setting were stored locally that would be so cool..

anyway I will give you some feedback as soon as I tested it.

Cheers,
R.

I'm at work right now, but yes, it's portable. Just point to your data folders and your set.
AND. it should be Multi User friendly... Didn't test it though.

great news....
I will test it and let you know.
my wife sometimes wants to put her games on the sd... if she manages to do it on her own that means your apps is nood-user friendly

This version I have now doesn't have the SD Transfer visible yet. I need to finish a piece of code tonight
and then you can transfer your Favorites to the Card or whatever.

can't be easier. Mark the things you like as your favorite, select your favorite and do Transfer.
everything else will be figured out for you.

so seems User Friendly to me.

to the other user... it's A LOT faster then Rominator... since it takes ages when you have 2300 roms in it..... to see some stats. mine take 1-3 seconds. instead of 30 seconds for rominator....

Filter is good but can I delete the ones not filtered, I want to delete all ROMs that do not use English Language to save space and cannot find any rom manager that lets me do this.

when you delete de roms from the list, you will prob gain 200 bytes.. not much.
its just a list. no rom files.

but if you want, you can set a default country for your roms, so that you wont see the others.
if that helps any ?

I don't want to delete them from the list, I want to delete them from my hard drive. If I can filter the games to show only ROMs that contain English, and either invert the list to show all the others and then delete them, or move the english ones to another set of folders so that I can delete all the non Englsh ROMs, that would save me lots of space.

i got ya. i didn't add any option for really deleting the file. I will add it to the menu.

Another suggestion, allow the use of NDSrc / RToolDS image and nfo cache folders then we dont have to download them all again.
