Hacking DS real time menu problem

ok so i just got my super card ds two today and have some games on here. when i boot up a game the real time menu appears without me doing something and until i hold B and i have to keep it on hold it wont start the game and when i let go of B it goes back to the menu is there a way to fix this.. (really don't wanna hold the button the whole time) and also im trying to run some homebrew *lameboy etc...* and it wont boot up as in i can't even select it in the menu

nvm herp derp lol reinstalled EOS fresh it works now

What button combination are you using to pull up the menu? There's two, and one has less options than the other.

I have the same problem, but even AFTER I reinstall EOS, it still doesn't work. I've been looking for an answer for a few days now, and everyone says to change "Simple Hotkey", but my main ROM menu doesn't have a setting for Simple Hotkey, only the Full Hotkey. Any suggestions?
