Gaming dS PROBLEM HELP

hi,i have a ds lite with all sorts of problems and a r4i 3ds card . i was wanting a dsi but i found the 2ds much cheaper.the problem is that i am not sure that the 2ds can read the r4i 3ds cause i tried on a friends 3ds and it did not work. is their way for it to work?

Try updating the firmware on the card.

Then you'll have to downgrade the 2DS (more specifically, only the parts that block DS flashcarts, TWL_FIRM and and the ds card whitelist)

by the way mine r4 card says r4i 3ds without rts
