Gaming DS Lite R-Button going out?

I don't know if I'm right, but I think the R-button on my Nintendo DS Lite is going out. I can press it and it works fine, but after some time of using it (usually on Jam with the Band), if I let off of the button even a little it'll stop recognizing the button as pressed. From that point, I have to jam the button hard or it doesn't work.

What can I do to fix it, short of disassembling the DS and replacing the button or blowing into the button or sending it in?
