Yo, @Bobesh8

The Pokemon distro CIA won't work - I get one of those black "An error has occurred" - no black/white screens or "This distribution is unavailable" oddly enough. I installed it to both NANDs.
Same thing I got, I also had to install it with DevMenu. FBI just didn't want to install it :P

I installed it with BigBlueMenu.

The Sonic Colors demo did the same thing too, oddly enough.
I tried that game too, Sonic Colors didn't work for me too.

I also tried the Mario Kart Demo, that worked for me (although it's already been proven to work).
I wonder why most of the demos aren't working.

I'm having the same problem as other people are having. I am using rxtools 3.0 beta 2 (It has the TWL patch) and I installed the Mario Kart DS demo on both sysnand and emunand. It wouldn't launch, and yes I did try launching from sysnand. I just a black screen. I then decided to install the TWL patch on both nand and emunand. This time when I try launching it, I get a please power down error. Also when I installed the TWL CIA patch, I got that same please power down error when it was it was finished installing. At first I thought I bricked my 3DS, but nope, when I rebooted it, everything was fine.

Did I do something wrong?

If you get a custom SRL that shows you the Error has occured message, first thing you should try is using a game code and TID from a known working retail game SRL. For whatever reason Home Menu/CTR Mode Process9 does not like custom Game codes/certain game code combinations (game code is in the TID, but reversed. ;) ).

How do I use a game code and TID from a known working retail game SRL? I don't understand what that means. I'm not very familiar with some of these terms.

Do you think its possible we could fix the distribution roms and how they can't read the date of the system?

its not easy but its probls possible but very hard like if you reprogrammed the twl you could do it so it reads rom instead of gamecard

thing is we just want 3ds 100% hacked like this is one of the last things to hack

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Then why don't you hack it yourself to do that?
cause im not a hacker i do not make hacks i only install others that make them for benefits because nintedo lock the system down

It's hacked fine. The only issue is the DS ROMs themselves and their incompatibility with loading (and maybe saving? We haven't gotten far enough to test a saving game) from the CIA.

And no, trust me, I don't think loading from SD will happen any time soon. You can move them to SD card but they couldn't boot from there, but moving them to/from them would be great for shuffling between DS ROMs, although with a minor caveat.
