I just wondered if ordinary, no fancy at all, standard DS homebrew like Nitrotracker, could be used in CFW with this? I already have a DSiXL, so Im not that eager to have that. But it would be cool to have everything under the same hood :D

EDIT - Nvm, I installed your launcher to SD instead, and it works perfectly now :)

@Apache Thunder
Is your launcher supposed to be installed to SD or NAND? I installed it and Pictochat to NAND, pictochat in both sysnand and emunand, and your launcher just in emunand, but it doesn't even show up on the home menu.

My launchers don't install to nand. Don't install them to nand. Only DSiWare get installed to NAND. :P

EDIT: @Bobesh8 sent me some converted Kiosk demo games and I made some "corrections" to Mario Kart DS and it works as a DSiWare app!

This might have been a DLP child SRL now that I think about it. So that might mean any DLP child SRL can easily be converted to a DSiWare app.

This game doesn't use save data (because it's a demo). So that probably contributed to it working.

You sure love Hatsune Miku, Apache...
It seems to run nicely. Any chances of trying this with other DLP children ?

IT'S FUCKING HAPPENING YASSS
This is an amazing breakthrough! At this point, a lot could be possible - I'd like to guess that DLP stuff/kiosk demos can't be too different from a retail game codewise!
See what you can do towards the retail Mario Kart DS ROM!

this is great news :) there are a couple of cool ds demos like the mario vs donkey kong march of the minis or the twilight princess e3 video!

Ok something very interseting to report! Mario 64 DS I got to boot BUT only if I had a Mario 64 DS cartridge inserted! So it appears DSiWare running in DS mode has slot-1 access. It appears to be reading the save from the cartridge. It won't boot if I have anything else inserted into the slot. So it's not simply "launching" slot-1. (I made sure the TID field wasn't configured to do that).

So it actually reads the save from the cartridge. Now maybe! This can still be usuable for something. Like altering access control settings of a DSi enhanced cartridge. (like the iEvo for example!)

The console reads the game from NAND, but all cart reads/saves willl come from the iEvo being inserted. Someone should dump the rom used by iEvo and try this. :P

Would you mind sharing the .cia with us (via pm or on that iso site)?

Would it still work if you eject the game after selecting a save, or does it simply crash?
