Those demos work because they were supposed to work from RAM, they don't have cartridge reads in the code (for all the game files). I'm sure every DS demo dump from the Wii Nintendo Channel (I think those are around) would work. And also those from the DS distribution carts. This has nothing to do with getting retail cart dumps to work.

with those ds pokemon events they used like specail game cards to distribute the events with via wireless would be be possible to inject that

HE already attempeted it and it didn't work

I have an idea hopefully someone can test for me If I can get it to work

Is it possible if we can compile DS homebrew that leaves space for the DSi-extended header (180-3FFF)?
I'm sure that's what we need for DSi Homebrew Channel to work.

what? editing the NDS rom's code to load like a dsiware game? Can you let me know if you find it.
Ah, was thinking of something else.
Thought you meant injecting DS roms with DSiWare headers. That's what's been done.

I think the file locations are located in arm7.bin (Not 100% sure)
I guess we could compare it to the files of the Famicom Wars DSi port, see where it looks for those files, and change it accordingly.

It could be as simple as, say, CART1:/sm64/file.bin to NAND:/dsiwaretitleid/sm64/file.bin.

the thing is though... What and how do we edit it.

I tried looking into those but nothing
I could be looking in the wrong place
Is there a way to decompile the ROMs into their filesystem ala 3DS's ROMFS? Look and see what would change there from Advance Wars DS and Famicom Wars DS.

Wouldn't the place to look be the DS version of 3DS's EXEFS?
