Okay, heres my problem. Ds Heretic compiles a ds.gba file. Does anyone know how to run a ds.gba file on a supercard v3 or r4ds? Or maybe even convert it to a .nds file? Thanks in advance.

rename it.

a .gba.nds file is designed to run from slot2 but use the slot1 cpu with a passme. 9 times out of 10 renaming it to .nds works just fine. its always worth the try. just so you know if this doesn't work you will need a slot2 kit with cf or sd because the compiled rom is to large for the 3-in-1.

it works renamed on my m3 lite running in ds mode. i never tried it directly on my slot1 kit.

*edit*
just put it on my r4 its loading VERY VERY slowly...

didn't fully load after 20 min.. i guess it requires to be run off of a slot2 in nds mode, which makes sense because thats how it was coded. hopefully someone will someday try to port it over to slot1. for now your only options are a slot2 cf/sd kit. hmm or does the ewin have more than 32 megs of holding space, i can't remember?

The "gbfs.zip" file is a good indicator that it must be run from a slot-2 device with GBA compatibility. GBFS is a way of creating a filesystem that was extensively used before libfat and DLDI came about, but it only works on GBA flash carts. According to one user, you can run such apps on a 3in1 by using GBA ExpLoader.

Then just load it into RAM or NOR with ExpLoader and launch it like normal. Worst case you can just flash it to NOR and then use your slot-1 card's NoPass functionality to boot it into DS mode.

So you can't play HereticDS with slot-1 only?

I don't think it's gonna get updated anymore, does anyone know if DSDoom works with Heretic. Someone told me that DSDoom should be able to play all Doom spinoffs, but I'm not sure if Heretic uses the exact same engine as Doom.

... I want to own some enemies with the Gauntlets.
