Yes, you will be able to play neo geo games but you need to use mame roms. For example, if you want to play King of Fighters 98, you will have to download the mame version and not the Neo Geo version.

Mame games that doesn't have a Neo Geo version won't work. I know it's a bit strange but NeoDS is a neo geo emulator that uses mame roms.

You meant, some fighting games for the Dreamcast?

Technically they're not mame roms, they are arcade roms for neo geo....Mame can run these yes, but you still need the neo geo bios file for mame to be able to read them. No rom is a "Mame" rom...they may be able to run in mame but that's because it's a "Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator" it emulates several arcade machines therefore running the roms for them.
