Does anyone know of any?
I have tried Bleach, its not bad, but no great either.
And yes, I am ashamed to admit, but, I did try the Naruto ones aswell...
So I guess I'm looking for something like:
Guilty Gear
BlazBlue (i know its in the works, but not out yet)
Street Fighter
Marvel vs. Capcom 2

It's a shame that the portable systems seem to be getting ignored in this area...

Oh yeah! I compleatly forgot about Jump! Yes it is a very solid game. However I am looking for somthing alittle more, grounded? Where yes you can jump, but you are pretty much always on one level.

Regarding Guilty Gear on the DS.....
Yeah, I like to pretend that game never happend (with the Guilty Gear brand anyway)....

Thanks for all the speedy replies!
And alas, I never could enjoy Mortal Combat...
Meybe it's the art style that really gets me on that one...

Side note: Is the King of Fighters series any good? (But plz continue the original discussion anyway >

Also, you can play Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Street Fighter 2- The world Warrior using snemulDS.

Unfortunately the DS doesn't have a lot of fighting games, your best option are the emulators.

I never liked MK either, just though I'd mention it. And from what I understand, yes the King of Fighters series is quite enjoyable.
@Hirisu, nice list! I should look into this "NeoDS".

@Yutsud
As haflore said, King Of Fighters is a good series and I think you should start with KOF 97 or 98 (easier for begginers)

@haflore
This is a very good emulator, you will be able to play shooters, shot em up and fighting games.

Actually I just downloaded it. I haven't had a chance to install it, anything special I should know(only works om card root, roms need specific folder name etc.)?

@Yutsud, You could also try Custom Robo Arena, not the right style of Fighting Game(3D arena-based) but it's extremely customizable(hehe).

Never did understand the lack of fighting games on the DS. And I mean well-established arcade fighting games, not those lame anime-inspired sissy fighters.

I mean come on, they could make a DS-exclusive Street Fighter that could include EVERY character they ever made for the 2D SF's, but no. They could make Tekken for the DS (don't even tell me it's not possible), but no. Oh, but we have a couple of half-assed GBA versions.

Why? They would be instant money-makers.

Oh, but we have Mortal Kombat.....the one fighting game I never did like because of the unintuitive, stiff controls. Go figure.

@haflore
Yes, you should put your roms on card root and you have to convert mame roms (it has to be mame roms, not neogeo) and that's all.

The emulator will come with a converter. You can make any question.

@Yutsud
My favorites:
Breakers Revenge
Double Dragon (this game has a little bug in one of the stages but it is only on this stage)
Garou: Marks of The Wolves
Samurai Shodown V Special
The King of Fighters 97
The King of Fighters 98
The King of Fighters 2002
Waku Waku 7

Sorry for my bad english.

-Edit-
@Rayder
Maybe it's because of the D-Pad or... I don't know, but I agree with you.

ROFLOL ><
I completely agree!
(tho there is nothing wrong with anime in itself, they just need to stop making terrible games of halfway decent shows)

What do you mean has to be mame roms? As in I can't use neogeo roms with the emulator?

P.S. your English is a lot better than some I've seen.

Yes, you will be able to play neo geo games but you need to use mame roms. For example, if you want to play King of Fighters 98, you will have to download the mame version and not the Neo Geo version.

Mame games that doesn't have a Neo Geo version won't work. I know it's a bit strange but NeoDS is a neo geo emulator that uses mame roms.

@Yutsud
You meant, some fighting games for the Dreamcast?
