I haven't seen the movie of this game yet, but I think I'll like it. Anything somewhat related to Greek myths and deities - I'M IN.
Then you'll probably be disappointed to learn Thor is Norse.
What I meant is anything 'godly-related'.
Have you tried religion?

According to IGN this isn't based off the movie. It takes place some point in time before the movie so it should be spoiler free

This game has a 65 on Metacritic which is actually excellent for a movie-licensed game.
I like Wayforward, they bring dignity to shovelware games.

A good way to describe it, and a fitting score in my opinion. When I first started playing it, I loved it. After finishing the Niflheim chapters, I'm tiring of it. It's a good game, but very, very repetitive. Lotta palette swapping, and some of the enemy mosh pits are a tad obnoxious.

Nintendo Power gave the DS version a pretty mediocre score(think it was a 6.0). Saying things like cookie-cutter, and very repetitive. That's too bad as I've been waiting on this. But who knows, I might find to be pretty great.

it is repetitive. but it is kinda like an old school side scroller game. which is fun. it would have been good if there would be more obstacles so it doesnt get repetitive

I hit Chapter 5 and wanted less obstacles. Fucking boulders.

lol, i mean obstacles like in mario where you have to jump and all. because here you just basically go right the whole time

Thor's super jump eliminated most of those.

I played it a bit last night, and so far it seems pretty good, yeah it is repetitive, oldschoolish, and I like it anyway, I think it's a good game.

I don't really like the graphical style. I've never liked the kind of retro style battle games, like the old Final Fantasy I or II (

).
But the game really looks good, even though I have really no idea what the game is all about. Why do you even have to fight these monsters? I think I will give it a try once.
