Probably based on a TV show. There's a similar one in Canada. The payout is really low; you get a free taxi ride to your destination and cash worth something like a dinner for two (slightly more).

It's not safe, and I don't think that shot was taken while he was driving.
There's something we call parking.
BTW, in my country, there's a show like this. And it's actually quite fun to watch.

know this much that the concept of the game is funny and i have definately seen this guy somewhere plus it's in german so skip

May be shovelware, haven´t checked it out yet (and I´m not really in a rush to check it out either), but I do like show!
It´s basically "Who wants to be a Millionare?" on wheels. Depending on how long the trip is, and if the people have half a brain they can win some decent cash.
Like in the €1,500 range. Without the chance of doubling the amount with the bonus question! Unfortunately not many people take the bonus question, ´cause it´s double or nothing.
The "Driver" is the guy who does the show. He does other comedy stuff as well. Pretty funny guy actually. Can´t remember his name though. Thomas something or other.

It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem. -

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
