i actually like crash
well a certain game of his on the playstation i believe..
you can do multiplayer and like battle other people (i remember a pogostick one and a polar bear on an iceberg)
that would be cool if it were ported to the DS and wifi added :[

I really enjoyed Crash of The Titans since it was a lot like the PS1 games, but this just appears to be a side-scroller. Maybe I didn't play far enough into it....only to somewhere amidst the first level of story mode.....but I wasn't really impressed and just stopped playing.

Does it get any better than the side-scrolling blah?

It's just the side scrolling version of the last game. It has better and cleaner graphic and animations.

I think that game was called Crash Bash. It was a fun game.

Probably didn't have a choice. The series was owned by Universal Interactive, who could pick any developer and publisher they wanted.

I really liked last year's Crash of the Titans on DS. One of the most criminally overlooked DS games and a fine fully 3D platformer to boot! I was so hoping they'd use the same engine and gameplay, but improve it. Shame, such a shame. If I wanted 2D Crash, I'd get the old GBA games out.

Crash Bash, they made a sort of similar game that horribly failed called Crash Boom Bang!.


Well, I hope this lives up to the awesomeness of the Crash Bandicoot series on the PS1(which I highly doubt), WHY NAUGHTY DOG, WHY!?

In the very first level you have to jack a beast in order to get past obstacles like trees blocking your way so yes.
