I didn't understand how this game worked as there is no explanation at all in the game (or maybe I missed it somewhere), but thanks to this clip I kinda get it. Will try it again. Thanks

There is a tutorial in the game, and the new mechanism are explained to you through the squared question mark in the left lower corner, when it blinks it means that you've encountered a new "Mechanism" and the relative explaination has been added. And by the way to revive your minis you have to find a statue with a bell over its head, then you have to throw a roly-polied mini to the bell and the sound will revive any dead/stunned mini. The bell disappears after one use btw.
