Actually, it IS like the game show. There's 12 games including Plinko, Hitchhiker game, Hole-In-One, The Shell Game, Punch a Bunch, etc. You can also spin the wheel and go to the showcase showdown. This game also mentions real brand names too.
Pretty fun at first but it can get repetitive. Also, I hate having to sit through that long disclaimer everytime I start the game.
EDIT: The game also has for stereotypical TPiR contestants; a military man, a young guy (college kid?), an elderly woman and a big African-American woman.

Well okay the game's really captured the TV show's minigames. But in the end, you're left with nothing but just some high scores.
I find it especially unrewarding since the point of the game is to win prizes (you can learn some trivia in Millionaire type quiz show games, but in this game you learn... price of things?).
And the disclaimer is painfully long. tl;dr does really apply here.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
