What's this game about???
Will it be realeased outside Japan?
Hmm this look very like the game I played for a bit - but I can't remember what it was called. It was on DS.
Thank shaun for the re-sizer (but I still likes to convert to PNG)
Looks like a pretty cool game…
Here’s the From the Abyss website
This game looks to good not to be translated!
Zelda + Secret of Mana = From the Abyss..
Anyone know if there is an english option? I would pay to import it if it did looks great!
From the trailer it looks bit like diablo in japasese way
Nice one... Could be fun... But I'm not counting on an US or EUR realese...
Looks hot! Why wouldn't they release it in the West too, Shanshobo?
So, is it a Dungeon Crawler (like Children of Mana) or does it have some Adventure in it (like Secret of Mana)??
Just test this game it seen fun, it able to link up co-op 2 player
Looks like an Atlus game from the boxart...
Yeah but its not cause it says "Sonic Powered" as the dev.
It looks good but surely could of been done on the gba, its to bad most games made dont push a little further along then the gba style with the power of the nds.
Hmm i wonder how much Japanese knowledge is needed to play this game.
From the screens it looks playable without knowing Japanese.
If just menu/skill name's are translated, it sure could be playable...anyway I'll play it with gamefaqs forum near.
Because it looks fun (simple mindless hack 'n slay) I gave it a spin.
It's very playable without being able to read Japanese, and it's fun. Simple mindless hack'n slay as I expected, I missed something like this on the DS.
So, 2 things:
The ingame menu basically explains itself, and you can change the tabs with L/R. Double tap (potions) or pull items to slots (weapon, armor) to use. Every level you get to spend skillpoints.
This took me a few minutes to figure out: the skills. You start having 1 skill (blue icon) and have to pull it to a button slot. Use that skill (press the assigned button) close to an enemy and you'll get a bar that fills up steadily. Push your button as fast as you can to 1) kill the enemy 2) regain hp and 3) get skills from the enemy.
Oh and don't die at the first boss -- you'll have to start over
On the town screen, the second icon from the right is a tutorial for gameplay too. That's how I learn how to use the first skill.
The only thing too hard too understand for me is the first icon on the left (in town). You can save here (pretty useful ^^), but I don't understand the others options.
I think i'll play it a bit or more....
