This game was boring, when the original was amazing. Every level in the original had its own gimmick, this one is platforms and more platforms....

Well, I thought this game was a disgrace to yoshi's island anyway...
this game is a god damn disgrace, I've tried it like 4 times, thinking it can't be as bad as it was last time.. and it seems every time I go back to it, it gets worse and worse.

This is one of the worst games I've ever played, and because it attempts to be a sequel to the greatest 2D platformer ever- it's the worst game ever, ever, ever.
I don't know how the hell miyamoto thought this was worth publishing...

No offense to anyone who loves Yoshi's Island.. But..

The game is terrible.. It really doesn't feel like a traditional Mario platformer, and there's a dumb baby Mario who cries like a bitch most of the time.

SMW>Any Other Mario (Maybe not SM64/SMG)

I trust you're talking about Yoshis Island DS, and not the SNES original, right?

it is nowhere near the same as the snes original.
You must be doing something wrong, seriously, Yoshis Island has some straight up genius level design and perfect, balanced, varied gameplay.
It doesn't feel like a traditional mario game because it isn't, it's a yoshi platformer and I think it's far better than the traditional mario formula.

and if he's crying all the time thats your fault

the SNES game was great, i really enjoyed it when it first come out Very challenging too.

This DS one is completely different. Its brand new, but simular in style. Just perhaps not as good.

The SNES one was released on the GBA.
