Yoshis lisland running poorly in SNES9x

On SNES9x when i try to play yoshis island to lags ALOT. Does it have to do with the Super FX chip?

Are you on Old 3DS ? If yes, that is why it's slow (Super FX needs more power).
Play the GBA version instead.

You could try with retroarch if you got a new
