Destructobot has a point. Afterall, B17s are primarily bombers. If every mission in the game is about bombing something, it will get dull fast. Still, I hope this will turn out contradictory to what I expect.
There was a game named this on the PC yeeeeeeears ago...and you took off spent aaaaaaaaages getting to the bomb run dropped sum bombs got shot at by about four planes which u could fire back at by selecting the gunners in the B-17 then usually you would get shot down...it was very very dull lets hope it isnt a remake of that one!
This game isnt good. Its bloody terrible, awful awful game. Its by DSI so if you know their standards you know you're in for a bad time as all of their games are like bad GBA homebrew titles.

I haven't played one of those games and hated it. Then again, I've only played one of those games (M&Ms), and it was halfway decent.
DSI = BAD BAD BAD! (Maybe deal or no deal won't be so bad though since there is no way you can screw up a game that involes opening a case and saying deal or no deal). I really see this company giving the ds a mini bad name with casual gamers because if you look at every game on the list posted above me (with the exception of snood 2 and chicken shoot) they are all games I can see people buying their kids for a present because of the titles alone and how most would be decent in the hands of a good company "Hey I used to play wiffle ball as a kid so let's pick that up"
I have no idea how much they sell for but if DSI makes themselves a budget company and sells their games for under $20 then they can make a real killing

Oh yeah Wade Huxton wasn't too bad.
Someone mentioned DS Air, theres no release date for it yet but the Japanese version "Jet Impulse" was pretty damn good. Fingers crossed that Nintendo are bringing it to us.

I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer

@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one

I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version

@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
