Euro box art > USA box art!
better late then never.... damn slow localisation teams.. I wonder what they do all day :S
But it doesn't really matters in many Games right? For me for example it is not neccessary to play this Game n German.
no compatibility changes in emulators or flashcards is there?
I can concur
imho this game is VERY BAD - i really cannot follow all the good reviews although i finished it (but just because i was so bored). gfx ond sound are really good but gameplay is very, very poor.
For people from the Netherlands it doesn't matter at all. Games get rarely translated in Dutch. If there is one translated, I want it in Dutch though.
At last... I've been expecting this one
Didn't want to play in english >_
This game isn't really that great. I think it's more significant that the release number has made it to 1100. Although that's not that significant...
I give the game 1/4 of a thumbs up.
US save work with this?! I'd try, but im a bit lazy atm...
you people from the netherlands can speak many languages anyway!
the game sounded fun to me. i tried to start final fantasy crystal chronicles on the cube 1&2 on gba/player and 3 on nds, so thought maybe this game is fun. i was thinking a little suspicious about final fantasy and what the chocobo does
Segmenting markets like this creates more problems than it does good. I agree that in the case of Europe it might be a little hard but games should at least get a simultaneous Japanese English translation during the development process of the game.
I'm no expert on distribution of games throughout Europe, but if possible, releasing American version games to English speaking countries simultaneously too would be nice. Though I guess that would only cause further uproar in the remaining countries.
There are some recent efforts being made where Japanese games are being translated during the creation process, however this is far from common yet. I suppose once a good system for this is in place they can start thinking of also including European languages in this process. After all, translating from English isn't that hard.
I might eventually find myself working in this field in the future as demand will be growing and I'm currently studying Japanese without any clear goals on what to to achieve with it.
Wtf, why are we dutchman taking over this topic?
Kaaskoppen are planning teh revenge to take New York back!
Or, you can call it 3/4 of a thumbs down.
I prefer to be optimistic about boring piles of stink.
This game isn't really ALL that bad, but it's not something I would go out to get specifically. Although I DO own it now, I just happened to get a copy for free. From a friend. They didn't like it, so they gave it to me. But I digress.
Final Fantasy is a cool franchise. Therefore, by the transitive property of gaming, this game is cool Or it at least comes from a cool franchise. If you get a chance, play the game. But don't make a chance. That's like forcing yourself to eat an arsenic soaked paper bag. Not only will it be long, torturous, and painful, but it will also kill you inside. Except in the case of the bag, where it will also kill you on the outside.
Box art looks like Spongebob Squarepants.
WTF? No. That cover is horrible.
