All this Dreamcast talk lately made me want to check out my VMU saves for Phantasy Star Online and stuff for some memories (and screenshots/videos), so I'm wondering what the cheapest way to get VMU data onto the PC for use with an emulator is.

The VMUs are official models, but I don't have a DC any longer though, it's dead and long gone.

Woudl have been easier with a DC as you could have used Dreamkey to upload your saves onto the internet and then download through the pc...as of now I think the only way you can transfer the saves is through a Dreamcast

You can find adapters by EMS to transfer that data though a parallel port. The catch is that they only work with Windows 9x and virtualization is iffy so you need an older computer that can run Windows 98 natively.
