So Much For The Early Release

Small consolation, but GoNintendo reports that LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga got an early release. So, perhaps we'll get that early to tide us over `til Tuesday / Wednesday (whenever we actually see Joker dumped).

It looks really nice, not much info but there is tons of monster art and they all look really interesting and they will all be modeled in full 3D so this might actually end up being a pretty darn good game.

Yeah, I checked it out about a week back and was a bit disappointed by what I think the site says the online play is supposed to be. The way the site describes it, it's kind of like the way the Diamond/Pearl random battles are...not real-time, but rather against an AI team. I'm not 100% on that, but that's what I gleaned from the info. Cool site though.

Yeah, it would be cool, but for an RPG like this I'll be happy with just the single-player. I played Diamond for over 100 hours just in the single-player, and though it was a cool novelty to be able to battle friends wirelessly, I never really utilized it that much. I love a good RPG adventure like Diamond though, where there's tons of nooks & crannies to come back to and find new stuff. Plus, in the case of Joker, it just looks like such a fun place to explore on the DS. Not many games for this system are that expansive with so much to see.

I nearly collected all monsters on the Japanese version, this is as good as the GB version of DQM games, at least as good, probably better than.

As far as WiFi goes, it's online tournament all year round, you get special items and stuff for playing online and winning. But before you get a hold of properly stat-ed Golden Slime, fights can be tough.

Well, that's pretty cool -- certainly incentive to participate in online play -- but I'm reading some comments on Gamespot's Joker forum that most AI teams are "cheated," with stats that are maxxed out. That will suck. :'(

That is why there are Friendly(Friend code) fights.

DWM2 works perfectly on Lameboy, while DWM1 has a bit slowdown to maybe 90% at random times. DWM2 is awesome.
